DataLens

Discover. Classify. Protect. Find out exactly where your sensitive data lives before a breach, an auditor, or a regulator does.

DataLens scans file servers, NAS devices, and cloud storage for PII, financial records, intellectual property, and other regulated information - wherever it's actually sitting, not just where policy says it should be. Every scan runs entirely offline: files never leave the machine being scanned, and nothing is ever sent to an external service for analysis.

Features

Built to find what shouldn't be exposed

Pattern-based detection

SSN, credit card numbers (Luhn-validated), email addresses, phone numbers, and a configurable keyword list for financial/IP/confidentiality language - entirely offline.

PDF text + OCR extraction

Reads text-layer PDFs at every tier, and falls back to OCR (Advanced+) for scanned or photographed documents with no real text layer at all.

Risk scoring

Every file's findings roll up into a single 0-100 score, so the highest-risk files surface first instead of getting lost in a flat list.

Ownership insights

Matches sensitive findings back to the file's recorded NTFS owner, so you know exactly who to talk to about it.

Quarantine

Move a flagged file into a review folder with one click - the original is never deleted, just no longer sitting in its exposed location.

Scheduled scans & full reporting

Set up recurring unattended scans via Windows Task Scheduler, export compliance reports, and revisit the full history of every past scan.

Plans & Pricing

Each tier unlocks more

Pick the depth of scanning you need, then choose once-off or monthly billing. DataLens licenses per machine, not by data volume.

One-time payment - yours to keep, no subscription.

Standard

For a first pass over a single file share.

Pattern-based PII/PCI detection and classification labels, including text-layer PDFs.

Standard+

For triaging findings by severity, not just a raw list.

Everything in Standard, plus Risk Scoring.

Advanced

For scanning beyond a single file server.

Everything in Standard+, plus NAS scanning, Ownership Insights, and OCR.

All plans are billed in USD. Prices in other currencies are an approximate conversion for your reference, based on indicative exchange rates - your invoice will be issued in USD.

Standard

Standard covers the core of DataLens: pattern-based detection of PII, PCI, and confidential-language matches across file server shares, plus reading text-layer PDFs - a better version of base scanning, not a paid add-on. Classification labels are recorded for every finding. There's no risk scoring, deeper source types, or reporting at this tier.

Best for: Small teams doing a first pass over a single file share to see what sensitive data is actually out there.

Standard+

Standard+ adds Risk Scoring - every file's findings are rolled into a single 0-100 score, so the highest-risk files surface first instead of getting lost in a long flat list. Everything from Standard is included.

Best for: Teams that need to triage findings by severity, not just see a raw list of matches.

Advanced

Advanced adds NAS device scanning, Ownership Insights (matching findings back to the file's recorded owner), and OCR for scanned/image-based content - so faxed or photographed documents with no real text layer are still searchable. Everything from Standard+ is included.

Best for: Organizations scanning beyond a single file server - NAS shares and scanned paperwork - who need to know who actually owns a flagged file.
