Terms of Service

The terms that apply to using this website and licensing StreamSoft's software products. Last updated 27 September 2026.

Using this website

This website is provided to give you information about StreamSoft's products and services, and to let you get in touch with us. Content on this site - text, product descriptions, screenshots, and pricing - is provided for informational purposes and may change without notice. Pricing shown on product pages is a suggested starting point, not a binding quote; contact us to confirm current pricing for your plan.

Software licensing

StreamSoft's desktop products are licensed, not sold. A license grants you the right to install and use the product on the number of machines and for the plan tier (Standard, Standard+, Advanced, or Professional) your license key is entitled to, for as long as your license remains valid (once-off licenses) or your subscription remains active (monthly licenses).

You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or sublicense StreamSoft software without our prior written consent. Each product's specific feature set per plan tier is described on its own product page and is subject to change in future versions; we'll always honor the feature set your plan was sold under for the version you're licensed to use.

Payment and pricing

Payments on this site are processed by PayFast (Pty) Ltd, a licensed South African payment gateway. StreamSoft never sees or stores your card details. All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Web360 hosting service

Web360 is priced on a "wave" basis - see the Web360 page for current pricing. Web360 covers hosting and infrastructure only; it does not include ongoing content or website administration beyond the included Web360 Administration allowance described on that page.

How long your rate is fixed for. Your rate is fixed for a defined period based on when you enroll, not for the life of your enrollment:

  • Enroll in January through June: your rate is fixed through 31 December of that same year.
  • Enroll in July through December: your rate is fixed through 31 December of the following year.

After that fixed period ends, your rate automatically moves up to the next wave tier on 1 January, and continues to step up by one wave tier every 1 January thereafter, until it reaches our highest wave tier (at which point it stops increasing). For example, enrolling in February moves you onto that wave's rate for the rest of that year; your December payment is the last one at that rate, and your January payment the following year is billed at the next wave's rate.

When payment is due. For every wave, each month's Web360 payment is due 2 days before the end of the month (for example, 28 September or 29 October). Paying by then prevents any potential impact on your website and services.

Payment reminders. We email you a payment reminder a week before the due date and again 5 days before the end of the month (for example, on 21 and 25 September). The second reminder is only sent if that month is still unpaid.

Payment arrangements, grace periods and decommissioning. If you can't pay by the due date, contact us before then to make a payment arrangement. If a Web360 payment is not received by the due date and no arrangement has been made, your website will be taken offline and decommissioned once the following grace period has passed without payment, measured from the due date:

  • Wave 1 clients: 7 days
  • Wave 2 clients: 1 month
  • Wave 3 clients and later: 2 months

We'll make reasonable attempts to contact you before decommissioning a site. Decommissioning does not cancel your Web360 enrollment or waive fees already due; restoring a decommissioned site requires settling outstanding fees, after which the site will be rebuilt and republished.

Cancellation (monthly subscriptions)

A monthly-billed licence renews automatically each month until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from the "Cancel subscription" action next to that order in My Account - cancelling does not end your access immediately or refund the current month: your subscription simply will not renew at the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you keep full access until then. If you're charged again after your cancellation date, contact support@streamsoft.co.za.

Refunds

A once-off or first-month purchase may be refunded in full if you report an issue within 24 hours of the licence's first activation. Outside that 24-hour window, purchases are non-refundable, except where required by law.

To request a refund, use the "Request refund" action next to the relevant order in My Account. If you have any challenges requesting or receiving a refund for a purchased product, contact support@streamsoft.co.za and we'll assist you directly.

Delivery

StreamSoft products are delivered electronically, as a digital download from your My Account page or the Downloads page, together with your licence key by email - there is no physical shipment. Delivery is normally available as soon as your licence is issued. If you have any challenges downloading your purchased software, contact support@streamsoft.co.za.

Trial and evaluation use

Where a product offers demo or evaluation functionality, it is provided "as is" for the purpose of evaluating the product before purchase, without warranty of fitness for production use during the trial period.

No warranty

StreamSoft software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for testing any StreamSoft product against your own environment before relying on it for production use - particularly write-capable tools (such as Active Directory Group Policy Manager or Network Configuration Manager), which we strongly recommend evaluating against a non-production environment first.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamSoft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or software products.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page.
