How StreamSoft handles information relating to our website, our products, and the organizations that license them. Last updated 24 August 2026.
This policy explains how StreamSoft collects, uses, and protects information across two contexts: this website (streamsoft.co.za), and the StreamSoft desktop software products themselves (the Data Management, Certificate Management, Active Directory Management, and Network Management product lines).
When you contact us through this site, we collect the information you provide directly - your name, email address, company, and the content of your message - solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.
If a Google Analytics property is configured for this site, analytics cookies are non-essential and only load after you explicitly accept them via the cookie consent banner - never on page load, and never merely because the banner was dismissed by clicking elsewhere.
StreamSoft's desktop products (Active Directory Change Auditor, Network Discovery, and the rest of the suite) are licensed, on-premises software. They connect directly to your own domain controllers, network devices, or file servers using credentials and connectivity you configure - StreamSoft does not have visibility into, and does not collect, the operational data (user records, firewall rules, file inventories, change events, and similar) that these products read or report on. That data stays on your own infrastructure.
Licensing check-ins (validating that a license key is active and which plan tier it's entitled to) transmit only the license key, the product's app code, and basic usage-count telemetry needed to enforce your plan's limits - never the operational data the product itself reports on.
Contact form submissions and support correspondence are retained only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry and for reasonable record-keeping afterward. License and account records are retained for the duration of your relationship with StreamSoft and as required for billing and support history.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by contacting us at info@streamsoft.co.za.
